Biography:
Mr. Liu obtained a Master's in Information Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2023. He was a research assistant in the Embedded and Mobile Computing Lab at the Center for Technological Innovation and Research (CITI) in Academia Sinica from 2020 to 2021. Now is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University and a senior system software engineer at the Emerging System R&D Lab in Macronix. He received membership in the Phi-Tau-Phi Scholastic Honor Society in 2021 for academic achievement during his undergraduate years. His research interests mainly focus on 3D computer vision learning algorithms with efficient operating systems and computer architecture design, which primarily emphasize the design of storage systems and accelerator design with emerging technologies (e.g., volatile and non-volatile memory, in-memory computing scheme, 3D stack integrated system design) and system applications (e.g., Learning-based models, programming models, compiler runtimes) to design energy-efficient computer systems.
